Zero Hour is the only eBay sniper with a permanently free tier that has unlimited monthly wins, no ads, no signup, and no need to hand over your eBay password. Gixen Free caps at 4 wins per month and shows ads. eSnipe and Auction Sniper don't have a recurring free tier at all (a 3-day trial and a first-3-wins-ever allowance respectively, then percentage-of-win fees forever). Both require your eBay password stored in their database. Zero Hour stays free for as many wins as you want, forever, with one active snipe queued at a time, and your eBay login never leaves your own browser. If you need more than one snipe queued at once, Pro is $2.95 per month or $49 once for lifetime.

Free

One active snipe at a time, with unlimited auction wins per month. No credit card. No trial. No expiry. No ads. No signup. No eBay password. This is the version we hope is good enough for most people most of the time.

If you're unsure what counts as an active snipe, the guide covers the lifecycle from setting one up to seeing the result.

Pro Monthly: $2.95 / month

Unlimited active snipes. Cancel any time. Stripe Checkout, no card data touches Zero Hour. If you're sniping more than one auction at a time even occasionally, this pays for itself within a single win you wouldn't have otherwise made.

Start Pro Monthly

Pro Lifetime: $49 once

Unlimited active snipes, forever. No subscription, no renewal, no expiry. Includes all future feature additions automatically. The break-even point against monthly is roughly 17 months ($2.95 x 17 = $50.15). At that point you've already saved enough on a single contested auction to cover the cost. Gixen has no lifetime option. Over 5 years at $2.95/month, a Gixen paid user pays $177. Zero Hour Lifetime is $49 once.

What you don't pay for

Things many other snipers charge for that Zero Hour includes free:

How payment works

Zero Hour uses Stripe Checkout for all transactions. We never see your card number. What Zero Hour stores about your purchase: the email you used at Stripe checkout, your Pro plan status, your Stripe customer ID, and your Zero Hour browser extension install ID. We use the email so you can activate Pro on another web browser by typing it. Card data stays at Stripe; we never see it.

How to cancel

Settings, then Manage subscription, then Stripe Customer Portal, then Cancel. The portal opens in a new tab. Cancellation is instant; you remain Pro until the end of the current billing cycle.
