Zero Hour's pricing is intentionally simple. Free to try. Cheap monthly. Lifetime for the people who already know they're going to use this for years.
Free
One active snipe at a time. Unlimited completed history. Every feature except the snipe-count cap. No credit card. No trial. No expiry. This is the version we hope is good enough for most people most of the time.
Pro Monthly — $2.95 / month
Unlimited active snipes. Cancel any time. Stripe Checkout, no card data touches Zero Hour. If you're sniping more than one auction at a time even occasionally, this pays for itself within a single win you wouldn't have otherwise made.
Pro Lifetime — $49 once
Unlimited active snipes, forever. No subscription, no renewal, no expiry. Includes all v1.x feature additions automatically. The break-even point against monthly is roughly 17 months ($2.95 x 17 = $50.15). At that point you've already saved enough on a single contested auction to cover the cost. Gixen has no lifetime option. Over 5 years at $2.95/month, a Gixen paid user pays $177. Zero Hour Lifetime is $49 once.
What you don't pay for
Things many other snipers charge for that Zero Hour includes free:
- Multi-region support (eBay UK, AU, DE, FR, CA).
- Group bids (planned v2, included in all paid tiers when shipped).
- Bid history and statistics.
- System notifications on win/loss.
- Customer support.
How payment works
Zero Hour uses Stripe Checkout for all transactions. We never see your card number. The Pro upgrade flow:
- You click Upgrade in the extension.
- A new tab opens on
zerohourbid.com/checkout?plan=...&install_id=.... - Vercel creates a Stripe Checkout Session.
- Stripe redirects you to a hosted checkout page.
- You pay. Stripe webhooks our backend with the result.
- The extension's entitlement updates automatically the next time you open the popup.
The only thing Zero Hour stores about your purchase is the link between your random install ID and your plan status. No name, no email. Stripe has both; we don't need them.
How to cancel
Settings, then Manage subscription, then Stripe Customer Portal, then Cancel. The portal opens in a new tab. Cancellation is instant; you remain Pro until the end of the current billing cycle.
Refunds
If you're unhappy with Zero Hour within 14 days of purchase, email us. We'll refund without arguing. We'd rather have your honest feedback than your money.
